what happens if i have sensitive skin?
bianca's brows & beauty only uses products that are 100% safe for sensitive skins. after waxing, it is normal to have erythema (slight redness on the skin) & no client will ever have the same response after waxing.
the only time waxing should NOT be performed is if a client is using certain medications & if their skin is open, irritated, infected or sunburnt. if you experience any of the above, it is best to book in once your skin is healed!
-
what happens if i take certain medication?
if you are unsure of medication, it is best to check with your doctor or myself prior to your treatment! some prescribed creams can increase skin sensitivity & must not be used for a minimum of 2-7 days before & after your waxing treatments. these include steroid & retinol/vitamin a creams. if you are taking roaccutane (acne medication) - you must wait 6-12 months after discontinuing medication until waxing.
-
what do i do before waxing?
- wear loose clothing for a more comfortable post waxing experience & to prevent skin irritation
